We have driven moves to London with our own van. Since Brexit, moving to the UK needs customs documents — we handle them, and the calculator adds the customs costs automatically. We also move people from the UK to Finland.

Customs clearance handled
The UK is outside the EU customs territory. When you move there to live, your own used belongings can usually be imported free of duty and VAT under Transfer of Residence (ToR) relief, which you apply for from HMRC before the move. We handle the customs documents for the transport.

How much does moving from Finland to the UK cost?
For example, moving a 1-bedroom flat (approx. 18 m³) from Espoo to London costs about €6,500–7,550 as Transport Only and €11,300–13,050 as Full Service according to our calculator (excl. VAT). The price depends on the volume, the addresses and the services, and the exact price is confirmed in the quote.
Do I need customs papers to move to the UK?
Yes. The UK is outside the EU customs territory, so household goods are cleared through customs. We handle the customs documents as a separate service, and the calculator adds the customs costs automatically.
Do you also move people from the UK to Finland?
Yes. The calculator works in both directions: enter an address in the UK as the origin and an address in Finland as the destination.
What is Transfer of Residence (ToR) relief?
It is a UK customs (HMRC) relief that lets you bring your own used belongings into the country without duty or VAT when you move there. You apply to HMRC before the move. We handle the customs documents for the transport and can guide you through the application.
